If you love the spa, but have kiddos then you know a Spa Day at Home is the way to go! The girls and I recently took a day to ourselves and hubby was the butler and we were treated to a day of pampering. Here are a few ideas of ways to make it special and affordable when you are looking for a little zen. I think this may have been the longest amount of time my girls were quiet and not fighting. It was a little slice of heaven complete with cucumbers, relaxing music and light bites!
These plush robes are perfect for a lazy morning and for this spa experience. They are affordable have a really nice waffle texture and make you feel like you are at the Ritz! At $15, it's a steal because I've looked online and they can cost up to $150!!! Talk about cost savings!
You can go to the dollar store for these guys or you can even buy this kit (that is half off) and make your own! My kids loved making these and we picked fresh flowers from our tree outside and put it in our bathtub while we soaked our feet. It really felt special and made the girls feel like royalty!
I put together a little basket for the girls complete with makeup brushes (we played pretend) and a manicure set so we could give eachother pedicures and manicures. This little set is only $8 and is something they will use for years!
A spa day must is a gel eye mask. We also use ours as a cold compress when the girls bump themselves and it's a fun alternative to an ice pack! How cute is Cam looking at herself? She thought she was a superhero!
